The Top Teams of World Cup 2010

Though all the 32 teams who have made it to the FIFA World cup 2010 are capable enough to make a mark, the top teams that have better chances of winning the cup are Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Spain, Italy, England, Germany, France and Netherlands. Each of these teams has produced a consistent game in the past and is playing a good game currently. There are advantages and disadvantages with each of the team and all would depend on the day how they perform.

Italy is the defending champion, ranked no. 5 in the world, has won the cup four times and is equipped with class players like Cannavaro and Pirlo. Brazil is the world number 1 team, having won the world cup 5 times and has many class players including the goalkeeper Julio Cesar. Spain though has not won a single world cup so far, has players like Iker Casillas and Ramos who can turn the game. England on the other hand has a team that is at its peak with players like Gerrard, Terry and Coles.

The fifth top team in the World cup is Netherlands that has Arjen Robbin, Wesley and Van Bronckhorst. Argentina, the two time champions, is equipped with class forwards like Messi, Aguero and Milito and has Diego Mardona as their coach. Potugal has one of the best players in their team, Cristiano Ronaldo. Germany is three times champion and is known for its skills to play as a team while France has talented players like Anelka and Evra.
