Favorite Doritos Commercial
Every year Doritos airs a series of new commercials during the Super Bowl and this year one video in particular really stood out. The premise is simple: two friends live in an apartment together and one of them goes away for a few days while the other neglects his responsibilities, but enjoys plenty of Doritos chips. As a result of shirking his responsibilities, the fish (he was supposed to feed) is dead and the plant (he was supposed to water) is all dried up. Luckily, he has a solution. He sprinkles Doritos crumbs in the fish tank and on the plant and he frantically cleans up the apartment just before his roommate comes back. Unfortunately, there is one more problem. He knocks over the urn containing the ashes of his roommate's grandfather.
But when his roommate opens the door, we see his grandfather sitting on the couch relaxing, and we are treated to a happy ending.
This commercial is not only entertaining, but it is funny and in its own weird way tries to show that Doritos has some good qualities to them instead of just being loaded with artificial flavorings and colors.
Check out the video with the link below. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
