Drinking Who's Fault Is It?

On the most recent episode of Two and Half Men Jake has a new friend who is a drummer and a very bad influence. I don't see how he can be a worse influence than Charlie but he is. In this episode Jake and Eldridge steal beer and get drunk on the beach. Meanwhile Alan likes Eldridges mom and ends up having sex with her by the end of the episode. Poor Jake doesn't get to have a friend without Charlie or Alan trying to make a move on their mom. I really miss Rose though. I think the show lacks character without her. Her constant obsession with Charlie made the whole show worthwhile. I do like that Jake is growing up and that the show can now move in a more adult way more frequently without it having to tone down because of Jakes age. Even though Charlie is a bad influence on everyone around him he is the bread winner in the house. He makes the money and keeps a roof over their heads. Alan doesn't do anything. In the show they talk about him working but you never see where any of his money goes. I know he has alimony and stuff like that but honestly the guy is a doctor and should have thought about finances before jumping into a second marriage. His first wife was a bit harsh but from how he acts that is the type of woman he needed. He should be providing for his child instead of mooching off his brother who obviously has problems of his own to deal with.
