Jake and Girls

The episode of Two and a Half Men I watched today was about when Jake wanted to take down the child posters in his room and put up some more … “mature” pictures for a lack of a better word. What a great way to come into man-hood living with a pansy as a father and a womanizer as an uncle. I don't know which way this can turn. It depends on who he values the most I guess. The show makes him out to be dumb but, in reality, he is quite smart. Yeah he asks a TON of questions, but that is how you get smart by asking questions. I think that the talk that both his father and his uncle gave him was very much so appropriate. I think his father trying to baby him is a total insult and his uncle trying to throw him to the wolves is so not the way to handle a situation like this. In a way, Jake is caught in between and this couldn't be a worse time. This is the time where most young men begin to come into their own person and adapt certain attitudes towards the opposite sex. In today's society, this is very important because there are a lot of men that feel that a woman is not human and shouldn't be treated with the same respect they would treat another male. Many men have misconstrued thoughts on how to treat a woman and that is why so many women today are dead, beat every day, exploited and made to feel like they should kill themselves. I think a good man in that household should talk to Jake about women and leave those two clowns to whatever it was they always do. Just my two cents! 
