To lose your weight, morning speed walk is good. But it is too risk for many peoples to follow. So try this hot water therapy. Drink one glass full of hot water at a stretch, before eating food or any snacks items. The water should be of maximum heat you could bare. Drink fast. So that your food quantity will be reduced automatically. Digestion will also be easy. It works...

If you sleep immediately after meal, your digestive system will not work properly and so you will have the problems like gastric trouble, indigestion etc.

All the oil content food have large amounts of fats. These fats add to the weight of your body. So avoid eating oil content food.

Exercise will help you to burn the extra calories in your body which would be converted into fats if not burnt. Try to walk a lot, swim a lot it it is possible. You can change your habits little bit and that would help for losing weight.

Losing weight can be one of the hardest things in the world to do. One of the best things to do is to reduce portion sizes at meals. Being on a diet doesn't mean you have to completely cut out foods you love, it just means you have to eat a lot less of them. Eating small healthy snacks a couple times during the day can help curb your appetite so you don't feel the need to eat so much at meals. Instead of getting that handful of chips, eat a cup of yogurt or some fruit.

dont eat big meal and exercise walk run

Wed, 13 May 2009 12:26:40 +0000

Never eat with your eyes and always make sure that you chew your food well. Sometime we see something that looks so good, we think that we need a plate full of it. Food is meant to be eaten in moderation. Chewing your food will help you digest your food better. An added plus to chewing your food... you will feel fuller sooner and therefore not each as much.

My Tip for losing weight is quite simple:
Do sports regularly, especially endurance sports such as running or biking. I run on my favorite track twice a week which only costs me 45 minutes.
Furthermore, switch your eating habits. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit and little meat, I dont miss anything when I just have meat once or twice a week. One thing that has proven helpful is: Eat little in the evening, so that you wake up a little hungry (not starving of course, but a little hungry) and enjoy your breakfast.
Good luck losing weight!

I have praticed few excercise which are from the indian traditonal arts, namely Soorya Namaskaram whcih you can search and find how to perform it. It is actally an excercise done early morning facing SUN (Sooryan). This not only helps in lose of weight but also to keep the body fit.We can also lose the excess fat by performing some kind of yoga like BIKRAM yoga. which is performed in high room temperature. Please do this types of yoga only with the help of a yoga master(Guru). When speaking about diet, I would suggest to have lot of negative calorie food. The negative calorie food are food which require more calorie to digest those foods. I will explian it with an example.

Lets take Tomato,or Brocholi which are few among the negative calorie foods.

Say if Tomato gives you 25 Calorie of energy to your body but your body needs to spend 35 calorie to digest the food. So you can lose around 10 calorie. This is just an example I'm not quoting the exact calorie data.

I think one of the most important factors in our struggle to lose weight is to keep myself motivated, motivation is the key, motivation is the thing that will make you decide to lose weight, motivation is what will keep you coming back to the GYM day after day, motivation is what will keep you going when you are tired and mentally quitting. I do believe that we quit mentally first, emotionally, our bodyߴs can still go but we think in the comfort of the sofa or in the great taste of a chocolate bar and our knees shake in weakness.
SO learn to motivate your self.

-Start with two oranges in the mmorning
-Then eat a small breakfast (cereal, yogurt and fruit, or two eggs with turkey or ham)
-Before lunch eat a small snack (small salad, fruit, or veggies)
-For lunch you can eat a small portion of chicken or turkey with veggies, fish or tuna, or even a small portion of spaghetti.

Losing weight can be a very difficult process. Anything you can do to make it easier helps a lot. One thing you can do is set a goal for yourself and do everything you can to reach it. Don't set a goal that is going to be to difficult for you or that will discourage you. Eat healthy and exercise daily. Try to keep a positive attitude and stay motivated.

Thu, 21 May 2009 01:21:56 +0000

The key to losing weight is calories in calories out. Simply don't eat more calories than you can burn. You can miss a day of excercising, but make up for it. Don't eat desert everyday, just on Fridays. Don't skip breakfast. Get plenty of rest to recoup from workouts.

Thu, 21 May 2009 13:08:41 +0000

To lose weight you first have to watch what you eat. Stay away from foods that are high in fat. It also helps to not eat at fast food restaurants as often. The main key is to exercise regularly. With a balanced diet and exercise it is a lot easier to lose weight.

You must remember that our bodies need constant fuel. I have found that if you eat three well balanced meals with healthy snacks in between , you will shed pounds. This is not a diet, but portion control is the key to weight loss. We all need fresh fruits and veggies more than we need fast foods.

Sat, 23 May 2009 13:32:57 +0000

1. Eat before you are hungry. This way you will be satisfied before you overeat.
2. Don't snack all day, but rather eat 3 full meals at regular times.

4. Eat non processed foods, with have less fats and other benfits to heatlth.
5. Try and make friends with other people who also want to lose weight. They can help you and make the process more fun.

Water. Water is a real key in losing weight. Water not only hydrates and replenishes, it speeds up metabolism and makes one feel full and satisfied. By just giving up sodas replaced with water, one can lose 20 to 30 pounds in less than a month.

Sat, 23 May 2009 20:10:09 +0000

My tip for losing weight is to eat carrot sticks. I eat about 10 for lunch every day. They fill me up and leave me satisfied. I do not crave more to eat, even with co-workers eating take-out around me. Then, they keep me VERY regular!

Sat, 23 May 2009 22:39:04 +0000

There are a number of things that can help in weight loss. The first is to eat numerous small meals throughout the day. Next, be sure to record every bite of food that goes into your mouth. Also, be sure to drink a lot of water and skip the sodas and other sugary beverages. Stop eating before 8pm and try to get some exercise in each day, even if it is only 10-20 minutes. Good luck!

To lose weight, take your weight now, divide by 2 and the answer is how much water you need to drink each day.

Fro example, if you weigh 128 lbs, you need to drink 64 ounces of water. This will fill you up with empty calories, speed up your metabolism, and nourish your skin in the process.

I have been doing this for two weeks now and stopped drinking diet pop. I have lost 14 lbs so far.

Hello my name is Kevin and I have a little advise for weight loss. First and foremost it is what you eat and how you eat but when I need to cut weight quickly I start with getting rid of the soda. If you stay away from all of those sugars it will be a good help and next cut your unhealthy snack foods such as potatoe chips and processed microwaveable foods. and Last I make sure not to eat any carbs or starches after 6:00pm. any of the carbohydrates that you take in during the day can be burned as you work. In the evening after you return home you are less active and any carbs not burned off in the day turn directly into fat. so if you snack in the evenings try fruits and vegetables

Sun, 24 May 2009 14:34:31 +0000

My tip for losing weight is a good diet. Granola and fruit for breakfast. For lunch something high in protein like fish or chicken. For dinner have a small portion of pasta or similar for carbohydrates with a good portion of vegetables, but go easy on dressings deserts and try to avoid snacking during the day. A good snack for in between meals is a granola bar or anything low calorie and low fat. On top of that try at least 15 minutes of exercise a day, that can be walking.

Mon, 25 May 2009 05:30:14 +0000

make a plan and stick to it. Measure yourself witha measure tape, your chest, waits and hips and judge your weight lose by inches rather than pounds. Eat more, smaller meals a day and pick a time of night that works for you and dont eat past it. Also make sure you eat breakfats everyday and be sure to combine healthy eating with working out instead of crash dieting.

There are quite a few tips posted already and they are good tips. The thing to remember is eating more home prepared meals is always a good way of keeping your calories down. You have control over how your meals are prepared and what is used in the preparation. You can add as little or as much fat, salt and sugar as you need to help have a healthier diet. The drinking plenty of water is a good tip it helps you feel full and keeps you well hydrated. This also helps keep off excess fluid by helping to keep your system flushed out. Exercising at least 3 times per week if not more will help expend calories. The most important thing to remember is nothing in excess, keep things to a minimum. Americans have lost their perception of what a normal size portion is. Everywhere you go every fastfood restaurant wants you to "supersize" your meal. The old saying, "everthing in moderation" are good words to live by.

Tue, 26 May 2009 05:04:35 +0000

When trying to lose weight instead of eating three larger meals a day, eat 5 smaller ones throughout the day. This helps to keep your blood sugars steady and control cravings. Also, cutting out white sugar and white flour and adding whole grains and fibre helps to keep you fuller and has much more nutrition. Increase your fruit and vegetable intake. You should eat five servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit every day. Finally, make sure to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day.

Tue, 26 May 2009 21:58:56 +0000

You can eat as much as you want, as long as you can burn it all off.
Ergo, if you are a couch potato, don't eat.
Also, only eat when your hungry.
Don't eat just to eat.
If you're just starting to exercise, make sure to take it slow and start off with a doable goal.

When trying to lose weight, moderation is the key. No one should have to cut out carbs or fat, but just limit your intake. Exercise including weight training and light to moderate aerobics/cardio is equally helpful. Fat burners in my book are a no-no, and quick fixes are only temporary. Once you get into the routine of taking better care of your health, it will become second nature.

Thu, 28 May 2009 00:16:48 +0000

Also, eating several small meals consisting of fiber, protein and complex carbs also helps.

Thu, 28 May 2009 00:19:27 +0000

Eat smaller meals more frequently. Eat when you are hungry, not just because it is "lunch time." If you think you are hungry, try drinking water first, as you could just be dehydrated. Do not eat while watching tv or doing other things. If you are focused on the food and/or the conversation in front of you, you will be more likely to eat less. Eat slowly, your stomach takes 20 minutes to recognize that you are full. Keep healthy snacks in your house. This way, you have to leave the house to get a junk food fix.

Thu, 28 May 2009 01:25:51 +0000

The biggest part of weight loss is controlling your diet. Keep a log of your eating habits, keep a log helps maintain sensible portions. Ideally you want to eat 5 - 8 small meals a day vs. the traditional 3. Make sure to eat protein and plants (vegetables or fruits) at each meal. Try to limit carbs to complex carbs (eg. whole grain rice) and avoid simple carbs (eg. refined sugar). In addition to eating properly physical activity is a bonus. Exercise is obvious, but I also recommend being NEAT. Tasks such as house cleaning, and yard maintenance are a great way to help you stay active and burning calories.

My advice for losing weight involves several steps that must be continued for as long as you are able to if you desire to keep the weight off once you have reached your ideal weight. First of all, walk for for thirty to forty-five minutes a day. Either walk outside or walk inside, but make sure you get in a good amount of walking a day! In addition to walking, I also recommend exercising as exercising can really help to shed pounds - even more so than walking, although walking can be easier and leave you with less aches and pains. I also suggest that you eat in moderation. Don't skip meals or take shortcuts. Eat three meals a day, but do not go overboard when it comes to any of those three meals. Read up on what you are eating so you know how much fat, calories, sugar and so on is in your foods and alter your diet to reduce your calorie intake - but do so gradually and certainly not all at once! You need to be gentle when easing your body into a new lifestyle. Also, make sure you get plenty of sleep and water, as a well-rested and refreshed body can endure exercise and reduced calorie intake easier than a tired or sluggish body.

I am 6'0" and and found myself at a weight that I didn't like. I started to get a lot more exercise, but more importantly I watched what I ate. I lessened my portions and I made sure that I ate healthy things. It has been about 4 weeks now and I have lost over 20 lbs! I am so happy and all I did was eat differently. I still eat out and I still eat ice cream. I just make sure to eat only what I need and nothing more.

My tip for losing weight: Chew your food really good and take around 5 minutes between bites. People tend to overeat when they are distracted by watching TV, etc. Also, do not drink during your meal or after a meal for at least 45 minutes. Drinking washes the food, and thus the nutrients, out of the stomach, leaving you "malnourished" and hungry sooner than you should be. And as always, being sedentary is not good- get out and move around!

Fri, 29 May 2009 05:18:29 +0000

I have lost over 200 pounds in the last 2 years. I have NOT done it with surgery. I do not have any eating disorders. The secret is...I work in fast food. My company did a lot of downsizing and my cushy desk job was eliminated. And sadly, the only places that were hiring just happened to be my local McDonald's restaurant and a few other food service jobs in the area. Most people think, "I only gain weight working around food all day". Which in some cases that is true. However in my case, I was able to LOSE a bunch. It's all of the running around that I do. The bending, stretching, reaching, grabbing, lifting, running, walking...everything involved in 'doing my job' is what actually helped me go from a size 32 woman's pants to a size 16. I just got up and got active...even though it's work.

There are a few simple things that everyone can do everyday that can help them from putting weight on and eventually lose some too. Most people eat to the point that there are "full" it is important to eat only until you are no longer "hungry" not until you're stuffed. Also it is better to eat many smaller meals instead of fewer larger meals throughout the day. Do not eat late at night. And finally it is important to actually get some exorcise in to burn fat.

Mon, 01 Jun 2009 17:51:27 +0000

1. Join a motivational club like weight watchers.
2. Keep track of what you eat.
3. Eat sensible portions.
4. Work out at least 3 times per week.
5. Drink a lot of water.

I like the Atkins Diet. If you eat nothing but meat, cheese, eggs, and salad for 2 months and do cardio exercises. I recommend 5 days a week for 20 minutes. You will lose anywhere from 10-30 lbs. I lost personally 25 lbs.

Wed, 03 Jun 2009 00:17:31 +0000

The most effective method I have ever seen to lose weight is to eat completely organic products. I would advise shopping at whole foods and purchasing organic foods low in fat content. I would also suggest not drinking any form of alcohol or soft drinks. Just drinking water and water alone can lead to significant results. If you get bored of drinking water add low calorie powders to add flavor. Most importantly I would suggest simply running everyday, if your out of shape start out with a short jog down the block and progressively increase your distance until you can jog many miles. I believe running is the most basic and most effective method of developing muscle in the legs and reducing fat around the stomach area.

Losing weight should be smooth and not abrupt. Set targets for you on a weekly or monthly basis. Stick to a low fat and oil diet and avoid snacking at all costs. Do regular exercise - early mornings are the best time. Don't be upset if you do not achieve your target. Simply reset your target.
Avoid those hyped up stuff you see on TV!

Wed, 03 Jun 2009 02:58:24 +0000

I have found that it has been a battle to loose weight especially after having 2 kids. The key for me is to find an exercise that I enjoy. I find most exercises boring and donߴt have the money or time to go to the gym. Just eating healthy doesnߴt work by itself and you need that physical activity. So if you like dancing, go and dance (even if you just put music on at your house and dance alone). If you like to play a sport concentrate on that. Donߴt give up because you get bored or canߴt spend an hour at the gym. Take 15 minutes and do what you want to do.

Wed, 03 Jun 2009 18:09:21 +0000

I finally hit the point where my weight became a serious health concern. Since it was a change or die moment, I opted to change. I started a very low carb diet - essentially Adkins, but I allow some whole grains sometimes. By the end of the 1st week I was exhusted, but then I got my energy back. I've lost 40 pounds in the past 3 months and will continue until I lose 40 more.

Wed, 03 Jun 2009 23:06:19 +0000

I go to the gym 3 times a week roughly and I think the best thing you can do is take it easy. You don't have to be macho man just workout within your means. The most important thing it to keep up with it. No matter how much you don't want to do it make yourself go because you will feel better after. Aldo when eating a meal you don't have to cut out all your favorite foods. Or any foods at all just eat smaller portions. Oh and after your workout do what I do (I live in a 6 story building) walk up the stairs instead of taking the elevator for that extra burn.

Thu, 04 Jun 2009 14:14:21 +0000

Drink lots of water every day! Drink a full glass before each meal, and drink a glass when you start craving food. You'll be surprised at how often you were actually thirsty rather than hungry! Drinking lots of water also helps you system work at it's optimum peak and helps it to filter out toxins, fats and keeps you digestive tract moving. Also be sure to get enough fiber in you diet - it fills you up and will also keep you "regular." And don't forget the biggest rule of all - EXERCISE! Get out at least 3 times a week for at least 30 mins.

Thu, 04 Jun 2009 19:31:49 +0000

Drink at least 2 liters of water.
Set realistic goals ,the goal should be to sustain the modifications for months and years.Food plans do not make you starve, but makes u pay attenton on choosing your food, or on improving your calorie intake.
You should have a good amount of fiber every day.
The best way to lose weight is still the traditional diet control and exercise.

Thu, 04 Jun 2009 19:40:53 +0000

Water is extremely essential if you want to lose weight, especially warm water. As soon as you get up in the morning drink a glass of warm water, it cleanses the system. Try drinking warm water before every meal, this will reduce your appetite and even help in quick digestion. Drink at least 3 litres of water a day. A balanced diet and an hour of cardio exercise will help.

Thu, 04 Jun 2009 19:54:25 +0000

Drinking lots of water helps you feel more full. Lay off any food after 7pm. Eating breakfast is important to get your metabolism going. Lay off the dairy like cheese and mayo. And lastly eat way more protein than carbs.

Thu, 04 Jun 2009 19:56:24 +0000

One of the most effective methods for weight control is to eat 5-6 small meals per day. This approach not only insures that you are never "hungry" when eating, (allowing you to be picky about what you consume), but that blood sugar levels are never elevated(glycemic index stability). By "grazing" you will naturally increase your metablism and begin to lose weight without ever feeling as if you are dieting. The only effort required here is to prepare healthy meals ahead of time.

Sat, 06 Jun 2009 03:20:23 +0000

Walk regularly twice a day.
Mix honey in hot water and drink in the morning before your breakfast.
Consume more liquid food like soups, health drinks, beverages, porridges.
Avoid junk food / snacks.
Eat / Drink low calorie or fat free food /drink. Say for instance skimmed milk, low fat biscuits.Always be conscious of your weight before eating fat items.

Sun, 07 Jun 2009 10:24:41 +0000

This is going to be a little off the cuff but I assure you it will work. Make a sign that says "If you can catch me you can have me" Put it on your back. Then go to an area where there are people you would not want to touch you and start walking. You will lose weight :).

1. Start small - try to leave a little bit of food on your plate at every meal.
2. Chew more slowly. You will find that you get full more quickly than you would have thought.
3. Do not cut out sweets/ junk food completely. You will crave it and potentially binge on it eventually.
4. Do not drink non-diet soft drinks. If you are drinking a lot of these, you will be astounded at how quickly weight drops.
5. Start to get into a workout regimen, no matter how small the amount you are doing is. For example, a 30 minute walk after dinner is better than nothing! Eventually, you will get to the point that you want to take the walk every day and may even feel more comfortable doing more.

A combination of exercise and healthy eating will help you lose weight.
1). Exercise regularly. Alternate aerobics and weightlifting. Exercise at least 3 times a week. If you don't regularly exercise, start by walking! Change your exercise routine often so you don't plateau.
2). Eat sensibly and eat often throughout the day. Try to fit in 6 meals per day (ie - breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack). Eat healthy but don't deprive yourself if you feel like having something you crave for. Only eat until satisfied, do not overeat or have a feeling of fullness
3). Drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses per day
4). Get lots of rest!

Mon, 08 Jun 2009 03:30:41 +0000

The most important part of losing weight is to understand why you've gained weight in the first place. If you are eating because you are bored or because food tends to make you feel better when you are upset, you need to address those issues before you can start to lose weight.

My best advice is to eat healthy, get plenty of sleep. So that when its time to exercise, you are up for it. Its important to balance everything in your life. If you are healthy mentally, and physically, your body will naturally adjust for the better

1. Write down everything you eat, during the day. This helps you keep track of how often you over eat and it also may cause you to eat less. 2. Find a physical activity that you enjoy and do it. 3. Move more all day - take the stairs, get up and go to your co-worker's desk instead of e-mailing, walk around the store a few times before you begin shopping, park at the back of the parking lot and walk to the store 4. It is ok to cheat sometimes, if you think I am never eating sweats again you are doomed to fail 5 Make lifestyle chanages but start small. Making a big change at once will be hard to stick with. Change just one thing at a time so you have a better chance of success.

One thing people need to remember is to eat right. your body needs calories and carbs if you are exercising. If you do not have enough food in you body it will literally eat "itself". work out about 3 times a week. Mix it up with cardio and strength training.

A very easy way to lose weight is simply put to eat more plants. Any time you can substitute whole beans, fruits, or vegetables for either meat or processed food you are contributing a little bit to losing weight. Another good thing to do is eat whole fresh fruits instead of fruit juices, which concentrate the sugar from the fruit without the fiber. Beans, fruits, and vegetables make you feel full because they contain fiber and fiber helps your body to digest these foods slower. This helps control your blood sugar levels which will also help you lose weight.
