What an absolutely ghastly experience for those poor kids who had their fingers cut! I can imagine the recall being a nightmare for the company, but surely not as horrific as that experience. I'm really shocked. If I had kids I would look for alternatives to these kind of strollers after reading this. But I agree with what's said above, the article has many useful tips for parents.

These strollers are already a major problem on the streets of any congested city. After reading this article I am even more convinced that they should be abolished entirely. What ever happened to the little strollers with wheels, that were designed for no other reason than to transport small children. The less contraptions and gimmicks the safer the product.

Wow fingers amputated by a stroller? Never heard of that before, but its an interesting article. Poor Maclaren gets bad ratings and is known for amputating kids fingers. At least there is an article warning the people and not letting them buy even more finger-amputating strollers.

Wow that is a pretty serious issue.I have seen this strollers parents using freely. Well and I am not sure if they all know about this recall . Must need more publicity over this topic for sure .

This is a nice informative article. Feeling very bad for the children those who got amputated after they placed their fingers in the hinge where the stroller folds. At least Maclaren realized the problem and are taking positive steps to make the changes.
